The BLSA UBC Chapter assisted 40+ black law students with their law school applications.

Life in Law was proud to support the UBC Chapter of the Black Law Students’ Association (BLSA) and was recently updated on the success of their free LSAT Prep Course.

The two free LSAT prep sections for 40+ Black students from British Columbia, Alberta and Ontario, were comprised of three sessions on Analytical Reasoning and one session each on Reading Comprehension and Logical Reasoning for a total of five class days over August and September. The students were instructed by three Black legal professionals who also shared their experiences in Law. Student’s gained valuable knowledge regarding the law school application process and law school in general, in addition to an invaluable confidence to take with them as they prepare for LSATs and careers ahead. We’re happy to hear the BLSA UBC Chapter is now planning on holding a session in the spring as well.
